Nimbin Aquarius Foundation Incorporated acts as an umbrella organisation to facilitate Aquarius Festival anniversaries and has done so since the 20th anniversary in 1993. The Aquarius Foundation operates as an information, ideas and energies exchange network fostering the Spirit of Aquarius.
The original Nimbin Aquarius Festival initiated a major cultural shift for the northern NSW region. The festival was a convergence of a generation in search of change. The festival itself was an art-form of people from around Australia sharing their ideas in shaping lifestyles that would build a kinder world.
The journey is as important and relevant as it was then - a vision quest for a world of caring and sharing.

You can support this vision by becoming a financial member and contributing your ideas and energy to work together for a better and fairer world.
Your membership fee of $10 will entitle you to fully participate in this not-for-profit community organisation.
Membership helps the Foundation to:
- Foster cultural celebrations of the positive social and economic legacy of the Aquarius Festival;
- Encourage these celebrations to expand beyond Nimbin to include the greater North Coast region;
- Involve and benefit the greater community of Nimbin;
- Seek solutions to Nimbin's social and economic challenges;
- Be of long term benefit to the community by promoting cultural ideals and creating sustainable employment;
- Collate and disseminate information;
- Encourage forms of tourism that will maximise social and economic benefits for Nimbin; and
- Encourage the development of self-sustaining communities
