Caring for Country

Nimbin Community Centre acknowledge that we live and work on the unceded sovereign land of the Widjabul Wia-bal people of the Bundjalung nation and honour their Elders past, present and emerging.

We commit to reflecting on our nation's colonial past as an ongoing necessity for the individual and collective healing process. In doing so, we acknowledge the colonial structures and policies that remain in place today and recognise the continuing struggles of First Nations People in dismantling those structures.

We respect First Nations Peoples' deep enduring connection to Country and the richness of their artistic and cultural expressions.
