Keys/Security

• Once your booking has been made you will receive an automated notification to your email which will provide you with the location of the key lock box and the access code.

• Keys must be returned to the box after use you. Failure to do so will incur a $40 charge.

Publicity

• Information regarding classes, meetings, events at Nimbin Community Centre may be used for promotions, grant applications or submissions by the Nimbin Community Centre. Please inform Centre Coordinators if you have any objections.

• Nimbin Community Centre will include your booking on the what's page of our website.

Lost Property

• Nimbin Community Centre takes no responsibility for personal belongings left behind.

• We will hold any lost property handed into the office for a month after the booking for collection, before disposing of any lost items.

Protocols

• No personal items are to be stored within the venue without prior consent from Nimbin Community Centre.

• If a booking is cancelled the hirer is responsible for informing attendees of the cancellation.

• Any insurance relating to personal injury or damage to the property remains the responsibility of the hirer and appropriate insurance needs to be taken to ensure this responsibility.

• No activities that may increase the risk of injury to participants, Nimbin Community Centre visitors or property are permitted.

• No amplified live music or drumming without prior consultation with Nimbin Community Centre.

• Hirer must remove all rubbish, food and drinks at the end of each session.

• Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to remain in the venue without adult supervision.

• All other Nimbin Community Centre policies as they relate to visitors, fire & safety apply.

• After use, ensure the area is vacated at the end of your booking time. Lights and fans must be switched off. All doors and windows closed and locked and keys returned to the lockbox.

• Please remember that the toilets at the Dance Studio and Birth & Beyond are not public toilets and the external door should remain closed at all times.

Refund Policy

• If session remains booked but not used, fees must still be paid. A session may be cancelled without paying the fee, with 48 hours' notice.

• A credit note for that missed session will be applied to your account.
