Diana Roberts OAM

Diana Roberts brings a lifetime of dedication to community leadership, sustainable development, and environmental protection. Her involvement in community life spans more than forty years, including twelve years as a Lismore City Councillor and over twenty years as a member of the Nimbin Chamber of Commerce.

In recognition of her outstanding service, Diana was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).

In 1991, Diana founded Nimbin Apothecary with a vision to make herbal medicine accessible and affordable for the local community. The dispensary was the first of its kind in the region and has grown into a much-loved and enduring local business. Now retired from paid work, Diana continues to generously contribute her knowledge, experience and commitment to building resilient communities.
