Community Picnic in Nature

On November 9th, the Community Picnic in Nature was a beautiful day out at the Rainbow Walk near Headers Ground — a gathering of locals, families and nature lovers celebrating our shared connection to country.
The event, part of the NSW Nature Conservation Council’s annual program, brought together music, speeches and outdoor games and shared food. Chai was flowing, blankets were spread across the grass and conversations bloomed under the trees.
