We would like to share that Aquarius Park now has a new "Hunk of Trunk" – a natural tree hollow replica equivalent to a 200-year-old tree! This incredible addition will provide essential habitat for our local wildlife, supporting them until young trees mature and develop their own natural hollows.
A big thank you to the Nimbin Environment Centre and their Nimbin Nesting Box Project, generously funded by a WIRES national grant, for making this possible.
Installation was expertly handled by Dave and Eli from WildBNB, with support from Triny (NEC).
